Branding for an international construction company, The owner a Ghanaian born millenial, chose the name Son of Dust which is quite powerful - representing the land he was born and raised on, and the idea that construction should be respectful of the land it is being developed on.
Looking into the play on words I researched into words and imagery representative of the ground, soil and sand.
The patterns used are based on Topographical maps. These maps show the variable heights of a region of land and usually on construction sites you will see large heaps of sand and earth.
The main colour 'Earth orange' was based on the deep orange soil so commonly found across different regions in Ghana. To compliment this we chose a deep blue and light blue representative of the bright skies seen across all 3 countries.
